Topshop Make Up: Flush Cream Blusher and Whimsical Lipstick

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of the Topshop Makeup range – the combination of adorable packaging and lust-worthy shades just wins it for me. There’s a few products I have had on my wish list for a while, including one of the lipsticks in the shade ‘Ooh La La’ – which I have been tracking down for ages. When I finally found it though I couldn’t decide if I preferred the shade Whimsical…

Whilst I was browsing the aisles I also got suckered into the cream blush shades… I already have the Neon Rose shade which is lovely. The shade is bright but the texture really light and almost gel-like, creating a sheer wash of colour.

The shade Whimsical is a pretty peach shade, with a matte finish – which is lovely, although I do prefer a creamier finish, but with a bit of a balm the colour is gorgeous. But it something to be aware of – I suffer from chapped lips and when they are dry the formula on it’s own isn’t flattering.

The cream blush is really bright in the pan, but when swatched it’s a little softer – as I said, the colour is gel-like and can be built if you want a brighter effect. I apply with my fingers as the warmth helps blend them – you don’t need much for a sheer colour.

So my addiction to Topshop make-up continues (I think Lipstick in Pillow Talk is next on my list…) also, they have a new collection coming later in the year as a collaboration with Louise Gray which rumour-has-it-is stunning, and really young and fun. I can’t wait to find out more and will share info as soon as I have it!
In the meantime, do share any must haves you love from the Topshop make-up range! Feed my habit…you know you want to!
