BarryM Gelly High Shine Nail Paint ‘Pomegranate’

November 2, 2012

BarryM have had a bit of a flurry of exciting new launches recently, with these Gelly Hi-Shine polishes that are meant to leave you with the same uber-glossy finish as a gel manicure and also a range of sparkly polishes too that bring out my inner magpie (the glitter shade is called ‘Gold Mine Glitter and will be in another nail of the day soon!)

First things first though, this Gelly polish in the shade ‘Pomegranate’ – I’m seriously impressed. It applied like a dream and this photo was after about four days of wear – no chipping, just some subtle tipwear. Really impressive for a cheap polish. On the shine front – yes, it is very shiny. But I did still add a top coat – simply because I wanted to make it last.

Overall – very impressive. Great formula and great staying power. Very tempted to pick up the baby blue and purple shades in the range too!
