Festive fun in London
Last week I spent a really lovely day in London – it was one of those amazing days where it all felt a little bit magical, with twinkling lights and pretty Christmas decorations. So I decided to show some of the pictures I took.
These ones are from Winter Wonderland – but I also really recommend if you’re in London that you take a walk all the way down New Bond Street (from Oxford Street end) to the Old Bond Street at the bottom – when you hit the Old Bond Street end it feels like your in a magical Christmas postcard – make sure you take a look in the various jewellery shop windows and see if you can spot one of the over a million pound items…
If you’re heading over to Winter Wonderland – which I am sure has grown with every year it’s taken up residence in Hyde Park! It’s so fun, full of cute little Christmas stands, mulled wine stands, then rides, rides and more rides! Even little roller coasters – plus some of the classics like dodgems and fun house type stuff.
Above all though, it’s the atmosphere that’s so lovely! If you’re not quite in the Christmas spirit just yet, then get yourself down to Winter Wonderland and if you don’t come away feeling even a tiny bit warm and fuzzy then I’ll be shocked.
Oh, and try a sample of the Wine Cheese whilst you’re there… it’s delicious (we bought a chunk to bring home)!
