Glitter, glitter, everywhere!
I’m having a bit of a moment with glitter, I can’t get enough of the stuff. If it sparkles – I want it. The glitter is mostly confined to my nails (and shoes actually) but for the purposes of this post it’s going to be a glitter-filled nail one.
A little run down of the glitters/colours I’ve included here…
The first few shots are Barry M purchases I made recently – the two glitters with shiny lids on the bottles are Limited Edition shades that are free when you spend over a certain amount – I think it was £6 – the others are all the shades I chose so I could get the LE shades I liked. These are the ones from Superdrug, there are different LE shades (I think there’s a pink and a gold on offer in Boots – if you like glitter though, Superdrug is where you want to go)
As I work my way through trying the shades I purchased I’ll do some NOTD posts, but a couple of the Barry M ones are in the turquoise/pink NOTD above. The glitter for both colours are from the brand (I used the Turquoise one and the Magenta) – on top of a creamy turquoise from the Essie winter collection and the pink base is ‘Kendall-ed Up’ from the Nicole OPI trio in this post. The trio is from QVC* – which after my recent visit behind the scenes with Elemis I realised really is an absolute gold mine for beauty goodies!
The bottom nail of the day (the dark one) uses the Khloe Had a Little Lam Lam deep green as a base, with one of the LE Barry M glitters on top. A blimmin’ nightmare to photograph!
From the Nicole OPI trio I absolutely can’t wait to give the Rainbow in the Skylie shade a try – it’s just a little glitter-bomb waiting to explode. But I cant decide what shade might look best as a base?? Suggestions please!
Anyone else having a bit of a glitter obsession?! Any glittery-nail must haves you want to suggest, just pop a comment below!
