The Body Shop: Christmas 2012

Still got some Christmas shopping to do? Then no doubt a quick trip to The Body Shop will be on your to-do list – it really is the home of ‘if in doubt’ Christmas presents, things everyone likes, that look and smell nice but you really can’t go wrong with. I actually made a little trip to The Body Shop on Saturday and picked up a couple of presents for people myself (totally unrelated…but there’s a great hand cream trio set that’s lovely).

A few weeks ago I went along to a preview event for The Body Shop’s Christmas make-up and beauty collections and have a few pictures to show you. Keep an eye out for the cute ginger bread man packaging – that also smells amazing too! There’s a whole range of these limited edition fragrances – including a giant gingerbread mad tin too!

I also had a bit of a make-over with the Christmas make-up collection – the hero product being a gorgeous eye shadow quad that’s available in a warm and cool version and is absolutely gorgeous. I was initially drawn to the warmer toned one, but the cool one was used for the photos below and I really like it!

I also spotted a few classic Body Shop items in there when I was having a browse – there are mini shower gel gift sets, which make for unusual under the tree packaging! They have the ‘old faithful’ fruit shaped soaps – I remember getting these when I was a teenager. White Musk…one sniff and I’m 14 again, is still around – along with an updated version. For men there are a few good sets and also if you want something for a skincare fan they have some good value sets – I picked up one from the vitamin c/radiance range that I’m looking forward to trying!

Of course, if in doubt – there’s always the lovely shower gel and body butter sets!
