TRESemme Platinum Strength Review

February 11, 2013

A couple of weeks ago I was treated to a pretty darn fabulous night out to see the spectacular Cirque Du Soleil show ‘Kooza’ with the folks from TRESemme to celebrate te launch of the new Platinum Strength collection of products – a special range designed to restore health to the hair despite up to TWO YEARS of damage. Yep, two years…

The range includes a shampoo and conditioner, a deep conditioner and a leave in conditioner. Plus an Instant Rescue Shot conditioner treatment…

The Instant Rescue Shot is the star of the show – a single use concentrated dose of treatment that really does pack a punch but doesn’t weigh down hair too much. This is basically my main issue with conditioners – you can get the silky soft hair, but for me this usually means silky soft and flat/lifeless at the same time. Finding something that leaves my hair soft and smooth, but with body is the holy grail of conditioning hair care.

But for those fortunate enough to not have baby-fine hair but want something that does a darn good job of restoring your hair to health then this may be a winner. For me though, the main staples of the range are a bit too much and leave my hair feeling heavier than I like. But I do love the Instant Rescue Shot for an occasional pampering treat!

Let me know how you get on if you try the range out.

Shampoo and Conditioners start from £4.99 at Superdrug
