London Fashion Week: #RevlonReporter

So as I sit here, it’s silly early O’clock on Monday morning and I’m about to drag myself away from the laptop to make myself presentable for work – also known as back to real life! But for the past few days I have been living a bit of an alternate life – at London Fashion Week. Where, amongst other things I have been working with Revlon as #RevlonReporter – going backstage to check out all the beauty looks they have been creating for shows this season. Which over the next day or so I will be sharing posts all about what I’ve been spying as trends for SS14 – but first a quick run down of the shows!

I have been getting all the backstage gossip for what looks are being created for the catwalk – plus some other random things I’ve spotted… Krispy Kremes as snacks for models anyone?! That was definitely top of the ‘things I didn’t expect to see backstage…’ list.

The two shows I will be blogging about for Revlon are:

Whistles – headed up by Jane Shepherdson, the brand really epitomises well-dressed London cool. A brand that’s the perfect blend of smart and on-trend, if I could fill my wardrobe with Whistles I would be a very happy girl indeed!

Sophia Webster – On the other end of the fashion scale comes Sophia Webster and her amazing footwear. These are the sort of shoes and accessories that will make you want to play dress up. They’re fun, colourful and creative – and I can’t wait to show you the looks from this presentation. It really was a bit of a dreamland and made me want to throw out all my sensible ankle boots and replace them with her amazing creations!

For both shows I will be showing the nail looks as created by Jenny Longworth – Revlon’s UK Nail Ambassador and all-round nail genius. She does everything from polished and perfect to the most out-there designs you can imagine. Plus the beauty looks for the models.

Stay tuned for posts about the looks spotted at these shows – and there might just be a chance to win yourself some goodybags from the shows I attended!
