I feel like it’s almost been an unofficial ‘nail week’ on the blog this week – as with all things make-up and beauty, the launches tend to come in rushes. So nothing new for a while, then there’s a big flood of them all at once. This week I’ve been looking at a whole host of Spring shades and today’s offering are the Spring Barry M Gelly Nail Paint Spring shades.
I’m a huge fan of the Barry M Gelly Nail Paint shades – the quality is flawless and the prices are amazing. Such a bargain and when the formula is about as good as products that cost four times as much it’s a bit of a no-brainer on which gel-type shades to go for.
The Spring shades are white-pastel shades, sort of typical but with the slight extra white-ness keeps them fresh. I’m shocked to say I even like the pale pink shade – and I never really like pale pink nails. Of course, the blue and the mint are my favourites…predictable much?! The blue is called Huckleberry (which will always remind me of having a major crush on Elijah Wood in Huckleberry Finn when I was younger), the pink is Rose Hip and the mint is Sugar Apple.
It’s a tough call for an ultimate favourite…but I think I’d have to go with the blue. I am a sucker for blues.
So predictable, but you can’t really beat pastels for Spring?!
Barry M Gelly Nail Paint Spring Shades are available from Boots (£3.99 – currently on 3 for 2)
