Five blog posts I’ve enjoyed this week

Firstly, a little apology from this guilty feeling blogger that the content on the blog has been a bit inconsistent this past week. A number of reasons, but rest assured normal service will resume as of tomorrow. But in the mean time I thought I’d kick off with a round up of some posts I’ve enjoyed this week in a bit of a share-the-love type approach. Hope you enjoy taking a peek at the following posts as much as I’ve enjoyed reading them!

five posts I'm loving

1. A Reading Nook – Gh0stparties

I’ve had a long time love of Kate’s blog, and the increase in interior content lately has only fueled this. Kate’s new place is my dream of all-white-everything, and just full of Pinterest-worthy style home touches. This little reading nook post gave me a whole bunch of inspiration for my own current redecoration project that I’m working on. The cosy corner with lots of white and copper touches – gorgeous. Have a little read to get some inpsiration for your home or add a few new beauty bits to your shopping list.

2. Three Ingredient Dairy-Free Pancakes – Amy Antoinette

Amy’s blog is one of those gorgeous ones where every photo could be straight out of a glossy lifestyle magazine. But it’s also a very personal space and one where you can really feel you get to know her from the things she shares. This latest post spoke to the special place in my heart reserved for pancakes. Seriously, just look at the picture. How could you not want to read more. Must try this recipe.

3. More to Follow on Instagram – Lily Pebbles

Is it odd to love a share-the-love style post within a share-the-love post?! Ah well, I loved this post from my friend Lily – and am indeed now following all of her fab recommendations. All of which kinda fall under my new home/interiors obsession list as they’re full of gorgeous light and airy interiors inspiration. To find out for yourself why the accounts deserve a follow – take a little peek at her post.

4. Tales of an Ugly Beauty Blogger – Zoe London

This is a real ‘food for thought’ post about the somewhat shallow element of beauty and style blogging. It’s something I have my own views on and can in many ways see it from different sides – the blogger side, the reader side and the brand/PR side too. But take a little look and read Zoe’s thoughts – well worth it and will no doubt make you have a little ponder.

5. Get Read With Me: Red Lips & Winged Liner – I Covet Thee

A look I’ve been loving recently is red lips and liner, so I couldn’t help but have a gander at this post/video from Alix over at I Covet Thee. Another blog/You Tube I’ve been loving for ages – as I just love Alex’s style and her personality just comes across really natural and relatable. Now if only I could somehow develop cheekbones like that and I’d be a happy girl.
