midweek reads 3The Travel Hack – One Year Freelance

I’ve said before how much I love reading The Travel Hack – this post really struck a chord with me. As I’m not far off the same position as Monica, coming up to a year now since I handed my notice in at my previous job. There are a few pointers in here that can very much relate to – the ups and downs and the losing of the blogging mojo are all things that I’ve experience so far. Got the old brain-cogs working at what I would write should I do a similar post in future.

Media Marmalade – Hydration Mission

A new blog on my bloglovin’ reading list and one I’ve Β been really enjoying. Lovely photos and some great posts with blogging advice in there. This one I enjoyed as I’m still having a bit of an overhaul of my own skincare I’ve been drawn to posts like this. Also a big fan of Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate.

The Freelance Lifestyle – Working From Home When It’s Chilly

Ok, so this is along the same lines as Monica’s post up at the top. Maybe I’m in a freelance state of mind or something. But this week I have been loving catching up with Emma’s blog – all about the life of a freelancer. It contains amazing tips, interesting interviews and all sorts that can have me lost for ages having a good old read. I always leave feeling more inspired and ready to take on the freelance-world. So this is a good little one to book mark if you are a freelancer yourself, or thinking of taking the self-employed plunge in future. p.s. I am definitely more the ‘reality’ than the ‘pinterest’ in this post…

A Little Obsessed – Finding Inspiration

Sabrina is one of my favourite bloggers and this post came at just the right time for me. I was stuck somewhere between trying to right a similar post myself, and also feeling a little lacking on the inspiration front. She’s also ventured into the vlogging world recently (go Sabrina!) so make sure you go and check her videos out too! Also now want to make jam after watching her vlog.

That’s it on the reading front this week! I have been indulging in a bit of TV, since the husband has been away for a few days I’ve had full control over the remote – so have mostly been watching E! or my current addiction… Geordie Shore (love me a Mortal Marathon…) can’t wait for the new series. I know, too classy…

What have you been reading this week? Or leave your own blog links below and I’d love to check them out – always love finding some new blog inspiration!

I adore A Little Obsessed too, one of my first blogs I read, and still the one I read daily!
