Tis the season to light candles! So here’s a trio of festive candles to get your home smelling like Santa is on his way whilst not burning more than you can afford (see what I did there…) as each one matches a different budget level. So hopefully something for all.

Affordable: Zoella Lifestyle Gingerbread Village Candle (£10) * – This one smells like fresh baked gingerbread cookies. It has a sweetness to it that is toned down by that ginger but is rather lovely. Very typically ‘Christmas’ I’m burning this one like there’s no tomorrow (I have a tendency to eek out Christmas candles until it’s about April and they just smell a bit wrong at that time of year) and this one I want to make the most of. At £10 this is a nice festive treat that won’t break the bank.

Mid Price: Yankee Candle Winter Glow Medium Tower Candle (£16.99) * – I think there are two types of people in the world. Those who love Yankee Candles and those who don’t. I do have a soft spot for them, I’ll admit. This one has that sort of crisp but sweet combo that they’re really good at. A classic festive fragrance that is a nice treat that won’t break the bank. Plus the candle is massive so will last for ages!

Spendy: Miller Harris Hop & Joy Christmas Gift Set (£55) * – Ok, so this is on the spendy side but makes a really lovely gift and couple of things that last beyond the burn of a candle too. One being the wick trimmer – ok, not an essential. But it does mean you can easily get the most out of your favourite candles without either smoking up a room or burnin the wax unevenly. But along with the gift-set bits of the trimmer and some matches there’s the gorgeous candle. LOVE the packaging on this and the Figue Amere scent. The candle is a mix of sweet fig and the fresh pine. A perfect blend of the two sides of Christmas scents. You can buy the single candle for £30 if you wanted to try without going the whole-hog with the gift set!

I’d love to know what your all time favourite Christmas candle is! I’m a sucker for a candle this time of year… my living room starts to resemble a temple I have so many burning at one time!
