Yes folks, it’s that time of year again, officially Summer is here because the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess 2017 collection is launching. So of course, I have a post to share the launch of what is one of my favourites every year. With a fragrance that smells like Summer and make-up items that deliver that gorgeous sunskissed glow with hints of turquoise. It’s one of those beauty things that I just love every year, no matter how my general tastes and trends change. If you’re a fellow Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess obsessive then please do join me in taking a peek at the prettiness below (it’s just a shame they haven’t invented scroll-and-sniff yet, as I wish I could share the fragrance through the screen!)

There are some staples for every launch of the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess collection. The Bronze Goddess fragrance – I have the Eau Fraiche Skinscent which is the classic ‘Summer’ fragrance. There’s a new version that’s the Eau De Parfum that I would LOVE to get my grubby mitts on because my one and only complaint about the overall Bronze Goddess fragrance family is whilst it does smell incredible – sometimes it doesn’t last as long as I wish it would. But I suspect the Eau De Parfum would change all that?!

One of the ways I counter the lighter fragrance is my layering the Whipped Body Creme and the Eau Fraiche Skinscent to double up on those summery vibes. I tend to spray the scent, apply the body creme and then spray the scent again as I have this theory that the creme helps ‘lock in’ the original spray?! I might be talking nonsense there, but that’s what I do!

Along with the gorgeous fragrance options there’s also the shimmering body oil – also fragranced and packed with golden shimmer. I used this when I was in Grenada recently to spritz on my legs when wearing shorts in the evening to give them a little sheen and glow (aka – cover the fact they’re still pasty white) absolutely GREAT if you have dry skin.

Then there are the make-up items. There’s the palette which contains a bronzey-peach cheek colour, plus two eye shades (a deep brown with shimmer and a turquoise) plus a lighter shade that could work as highlight or on the eyes. Definitely a great ‘all in one’ holiday/Summer days palette.

Then of course there’s the Bronze Goddess Limited Edition highlighter Illuminating Poweder Gelee – like a golden sunburst this is the same sort of ‘gel/powder’ texture that they have a version of each year. It’s gorgeous and definitely one if you want to take highlight to a new level. SO shimmering.

Last but by no means least there’s also a lip glow lip colour in two shades – Sunblush & Sunlit Nude – One a peachy coral and the other a bronzey-nude. I have the coral option here (Sunblush) it’s very pretty and combined with all the other items you will be a Bronze Goddess is no time at all.

God I love this collection. The fragrance was all I used in Grenada and have been using it since I got back and just a hint of it and I immediately feel that touch more tropical! Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess 2017 is an exciting a collection as ever, with the real highlight being the addition of the Eau De Parfum version of the signature scent – definitely need to try this – but across the board this is a collection that ticks all those ‘Summer dreams’ boxes. LOVE.
