Morgan Taylor Street Beat Collection

When I first spotted this collection it immediately reminded me of one thing – before I even knew the name of it. Was Wynwood in Miami – the street art/grafitti district of the city that is just bursting with these sorts of bright colours. Then I heard that the collection is called the ‘Street Beat Collection’ and it just makes total sense on where the inspiration comes from. So I’ve interspersed this post with some of my Miami street art photos that I felt sort of capture the inspiration for the nails shades. Plus it’s a good excuse for me to have a little reminisce about my trip to amazing Miami! Plus the Morgan Taylor Street Beat Collection is basically the ultimate Summer brights collection!

Morgan Taylor Street Beat Collection shades left to right: Tag, you’re it (bright fucshia), Give me a break-dance (neon teal), Cou-tour the streets (bright baby pink), Street-credible (bright neon yellow-orange), Hip Hot Coral (neon bright coral pink), B-girl style (bright mid pink).

There are six shades of street art inspired brights – all with a neon shade to them, which means they do dry down to a matte finish as most mattes do. So if you want a glossy finish then make sure you go for a top coat (my all time favourite being Seche Vite). The shades include a few bright pink options, from full on fuchsia to a bright baby pink with a Barbie neon side to it. Then there’s a bright teal and a neon orange/yellow shade too. It was funny looking through my Miami snaps to see exactly how accurate the street art collection shades are at capturing that bright shade range from the streets of Wynwood as an example of street art!

So left to right above we have – Tag, you’re it, Give me a break-dance, Cou-tour the streets, Street-credible, Hip Hot Coral, B-girl style. I love Tag, you’re it – when it comes to pink, I don’t often go for the softer or baby pinks so I really get drawn to the super-bright ones. Plus the pretty teal Give me a break-dance is a bit brighter and lighter in person when applied than in the bottle. I really like this shade and like how they look side by side with the bright yellow/orange too.
